I breadboarded an MXR distortion + and decided to try to CNC the circuit on some copper board. It can out pretty good (the board). I used a tin can LM741 that I got from Pedalhacker Electronics.
After boxing it up and testing it I found it to have a very full fuzz sound. So I named it the fuzz-stortion and painted a fuzzy little caterpillar on the enclosure.
